Why Visionary
Ben Davidson is the Founder of Visionary Technologies and has served as our Chief Executive Officer since 2012. Ben leads oversight of the multinational technology organization specializing in the development, manufacture and distribution of complex electronic products to the New Zealand market and abroad.
Ben provides significant input into product research and development and carries specialist skills in coordinating global electrical, mechanical engineering and CAD design teams. Notably, Ben was the Visionary of the Eve Series of recessed luminaires and pioneered a new direction for power electronics with the introduction of the Phoenix Series LED driver family.
Ben holds a Bachelor of Commerce, specialising in management and marketing and ranked in the top three students nationally by Enterprise New Zealand in 2009.
He is best known for his unrelenting determination to challenge the status quo and accomplish feats that were once considered impossible.

Visionary releases Studio Technology which dramatically improves the appearance of objects’ true colour2. It can be utilized to enhance your favorite canvases in your home. You can also trust it to accurately represent the colour in any room space.

Visionary now carries out primary product development and production assembly of its New Zealand Collection luminaires and product distribution in advanced facility on 15/3 Stark Drive in the Wigram area of Christchurch. Visionary's head office carries some of the most sophisticated equipment inside including a temperature, dust and humidity controlled production room and biometric access to restricted areas of the building.
