Visionary Technologies started out small and in a garage, like many successful companies such as Apple®, Google® and Amazon®. Today, Visionary's portfolio carries some of the most innovative product designs and technology the world has to offer.
Visionary carries out primary product development, production of its New Zealand Collection luminaires and distribution in a purpose built facility on Innovation road in the Waterloo Business Park in Christchurch. Visionary's head office carries some of the most sophisticated equipment inside including a temperature, dust and humidity monitored primary production floor and biometric access to restricted areas of the building.
Visionary pushes the boundaries of technology to develop solutions that benefit our local market. We understand the local landscape and develop products that work harmoniously with it. An example is with the use of our Adaptiv R1™ driver technology, helping ensure dimming compatibility with existing New Zealand homes.
SleepLED® is the first of its kind available in New Zealand1 , a source that removes the peak of high energy visible light (HEV) that disrupts the brain’s release of melatonin (sleep hormone).

ADAPTIV technology is an LED driver technology. It utilities a digital processor core that monitors the internal circuitry and dynamically adjusts operating parameters to perform optimally. The result is a highly efficient dimmable driver system that performs exceptionally.
A colour platform unique to Visionary, Tru-colour ensures that each and every luminaire provides consistent and accurate lighting engine colour consistency. Tru-colour enabled luminaires are audited to stringent tolerances virtually eliminating diode CCT divergence between products.
